Plumbing Estimating Built for the Trade
Plumber Estimator is a specialist plumbing estimating and quantity takeoff service. We work remotely with contractors, owners, and project managers across the United States.
What we do
We prepare detailed plumbing cost estimates and material quantity takeoffs from construction drawings. Our deliverables are used by plumbing subcontractors building bids, general contractors establishing plumbing budgets, and owners and developers tracking project costs through design and construction.
Every estimate includes an itemised spreadsheet, a written scope summary, and a basis of estimate that documents the pricing methodology and any assumptions made. We do not perform installation work, pull permits, or provide engineering services.
Plumber Estimator operates as a division of Union Estimating LLC. Union Estimating LLC provides construction cost estimating services across multiple trades and project types. Plumber Estimator focuses exclusively on plumbing scope — domestic water, drainage, gas, medical gas, fire suppression rough-in, and specialty systems.
By concentrating on a single trade, we maintain the depth of knowledge that plumbing estimating requires: current material pricing, familiarity with plumbing specifications and code requirements, and an understanding of how plumbing scope interacts with the broader project budget.
How we work
Fully remote
All work is performed digitally from your submitted drawings. We have no geographic restriction and estimate projects in all 50 states. Location does not affect turnaround or pricing.
Drawing-based estimates
We work from the drawings you provide — PDF, DWG, Revit, or most common formats. We do not require site visits or in-person meetings.
3–5 business day turnaround
Standard delivery is 3–5 business days from receipt of complete drawings. Rush delivery in 1–2 business days is available for most project types.
Confidential
All project drawings, pricing, and client information are treated as confidential. We do not share project details with third parties.
Estimating services only
Plumber Estimator is not a licensed plumbing contractor. We do not perform installation work, pull permits, provide engineering services, or offer any service that requires a contractor's licence. Our work product is a cost estimate or quantity takeoff document intended to support your bidding and budgeting process.
